Come and experience an immersive educational adventure at our educational farm, where nature, tradition, and learning come together to offer both adults and children an unforgettable day. You’ll learn to respect nature's rhythms, discover the link between food and the environment, and get hands-on with authentic rural life.
What We’ll Do:
We’ll spend a day outdoors, surrounded by nature, greenery, and animals, with many engaging activities:
- Meeting the animals: You’ll pet and get to know cows, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, and many other four-legged friends.
- Observing agricultural work: Discover how land products are cultivated and witness the work of a farmer in action.
- Fruit and vegetable picking: Learn to recognize and pick seasonal fruits, developing greater food awareness.
- Refreshments: Enjoy specialties made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, surrounded by nature and the tranquility of the countryside.
Active Workshops:
You can also take part in hands-on experiences and seasonal educational workshops on various themes, including:
- Our Egg Friends: Collect fresh eggs from the henhouse and join a cooking workshop to make cakes or fresh pasta.
- Sensory workshops: Tactile, olfactory, and visual experiences to discover nature through the five senses.
- Grandma’s Soap: Make natural soaps using agricultural ingredients such as aromatic plants and olive oil.
- Barefoot Trail: A unique sensory experience to connect with nature.
- Creative reuse: Create handmade products by recycling natural materials.
- From Vine to Wine: Harvest grapes and discover the winemaking process, with the opportunity to stomp grapes as it was once done! (Available from late September to mid-October)
- From Olive to Bruschetta: Discover the world of extra virgin olive oil, participate in olive harvesting, and taste fresh bruschetta with olive oil. (Available from late October to November)
- From Wheat to Bread: Sow, harvest, and knead bread using flour from our own production.
- The Butterfly Garden: Discover biodiversity by planting flowers that attract butterflies and observing the farm’s ecosystem. (Available in March, April, and May)
Duration of the Experience:
The experience lasts about 3 hours, followed by lunch, a snack, or an apericena.
The menus include various seasonal options to be agreed upon when booking. Local cured meats, bread, focaccia, local cheeses, seasonal vegetables, and handmade pasta; feel free to ask Lori about the availability for the season!
Cost of the Experience:
- Children: from €10.00
- Adults: from €15.00
Booking: Minimum 8 people (or 5-6 children with parents)
Schedule and Timings:
The experience is available year-round by advance booking (2 days’ notice is recommended):
- Spring and Autumn: Morning and afternoon
- Summer: From 5:00 PM to avoid the heat
- Winter: Morning or early afternoon
Useful Information:
- Pets are welcome, as long as they are kept on a leash and are respectful of other animals and guests.
- Accessibility is guaranteed for people with disabilities.
- Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities is recommended.
- We also recommend bringing: a hat, a change of shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
- Please report any food allergies or intolerances when booking.
